Who Should Participate?

The Anniversary Celebration is an opportunity to honor long term marriage. Only couples celebrating these special anniversaries in 2023 are invited to register: 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50 or more years.

Families are welcome to attend again with the couples celebrating their milestone wedding anniversary this year!

(Please Note: Once you have reached your fifty-year anniversary, you are invited to participate in the celebration every year thereafter.)

Why Should You Participate?

To be honored by the Catholic Community, to renew your commitment to your wedding vows and to serve as an affirmation of love and commitment which are integral to Christian Marriage.

When and Where?

Saturday, November 4, 2023
Holy Family Catholic Church
9800 Baymeadows Road, Jacksonville, FL 32256

The event may be attended in-person but the Mass will be livestreamed and a virtual option is also available.

If you celebrated a milestone wedding anniversary this year but are unable to register in time or participate live, you may still receive materials and a certificate by registering below before December 31, 2022. The Mass includes a renewal of commitment to the vows and a special blessing from Bishop Erik Pohlmeier. Your packet will include a program with text to follow along with the bishop as well as blessings and prayers that can be done in the home.

What Does the Celebration Involve?

There is a Eucharistic Liturgy during which the Bishop will facilitate a renewal of commitment to the wedding vows and impart a special blessing. Certificates will be provided to couples along with materials and instructions for participating. A light reception will follow the celebration in the Parish Life Center.

Couples will also be recognized in a digital slideshow that will display names, parish, and years married. We invite participants to either upload or mail a photo of their wedding day. If sending by mail, please do not send an original.

What is the Cost?

There is no cost to participate in the Anniversary Celebration. However, donations to support the many programs of the Office of Family Life are always gladly accepted.
