National Marriage Week

National Marriage Week (Feb. 7 – 14) is an opportunity to reflect and rejoice in the beautiful gift of Life and Love given to us in the sacrament of marriage!

Helpful Tools for Couples

Date Night Ideas

Not sure where to begin? We’ve provided a simple resource with a few date night ideas and conversation starters.

For more ideas, simply Google “date night ideas” or check out http://www.foryourmarriage.org/weekly-dating-ideas/

Catholic Couple Checkup

The Catholic Couple Checkup will help you and your partner build a more satisfying and intimate relationship. Whether you are dating, engaged or married, the Couple Checkup is valuable and relevant.  Just answering the questions will stimulate thoughts and attitudes about your relationship. It is designed to activate dialogue, discovery, and increase the overall quality of your relationship.

Free 5 Love Languages Quiz

Dr. Gary Chapman’s best-selling book, The 5 Love Languages, explains the different ways in which we give and expect to receive love.  A couple may be very much in love, but not “communicating” or expressing that love in a way they understand or that truly fulfills and builds them up.

Events

Valentine’s Living in Love Workshop
February 15-16, 2020
Blessed Trinity Catholic Church

This energizing retreat workshop frees couples of all ages and stages to live in love the way they always dreamed they would! Designed to release the unbridled joy of being a man and a woman in love, the weekend consists of a series of powerful presentations that integrate insights from the sciences with St. John Paul ll’s Theology of the Body communicated in common sense language and illustrated with real life examples. Couples experience the difference between secular and sacramental marriage, gain liberating insight into how differently men and women prefer to achieve intimacy, embrace a proactive mindset, and learn practical strategies to raise the level of passion and delight in their relationship for the sake of those around them. Each exercise includes time for private reflection and couple sharing. There is no large group open sharing or discussion. Saturday begins at 8 AM including continental breakfast and a lovely romantic dinner. Sunday begins with 8 AM mass and will conclude by 4 PM, but the freedom and joy will continue to grow after the weekend!

For more information or to register, call Ron (484-366-6102) and Kathy Feher (610-506-7958) or visit www.livinginlove.org.
