Marriage Preparation

Pre Cana Online

Living Our Faith in Love, the online Pre Cana course, provides you with the opportunity to complete your marriage preparation from wherever you are at your convenience. The program will provide both an overview of God’s design for joy in marriage and practical skills for bringing it about. Each couple is encouraged to reflect and discuss privately the topics raised during this online course.

NFP Online

Most NFP instructors in the diocese are continuing to offer introductory and follow up sessions remotely using videoconferencing services. Contact an instructor near you for availability.

Couples

Every Day in Love

Every Day in Love is a series of four, up-beat, engaging, and empowering mini workshops designed to release joy and enthusiasm in every couple’s relationship – every day!

Presented by authors Ron and Kathy Feher, parishioners of Resurrection Catholic Church, these virtual workshops are packed with practical strategies, everyday skills, liberating insights, and experiential exercises and include state of the art printed material.

In-Home Date Night Kit

Families

At Home with Your Faith. A resource produced by the Archdiocese of Baltimore with daily reflections, conversations starters, and activities for families.

Strong Catholic Family Faith. Resources for faith formation, celebrating the Sabbath in the home, and parental support. It is a general resource for ministry leaders but many of the materials are useful for the home.

Common Sense Media. Quality media and at-home learning opportunities for your kids.

Holy Week Resources

Meditations by Bishop Estévez. From April 7-10, Bishop Felipe Estévez will lead the Catholic faithful on a spiritual journey of meditations for Holy Week. The meditations focus on “The Seven Last Words of Christ” and will be available through the diocesan Facebook page  and the website.

Children’s Stations of the Cross. Join Jeff and Allison Mall, founders of Families Following Christ, as their family presents a Stations of the Cross for children. This child-friendly rendition of the stations has been hosted by Families Following Christ on Good Friday at the Marywood Retreat Center for over 15 years, but this year they will be bringing it to your home! The stations will be prerecorded and available for viewing on Friday, April 10.

Resources. The Office of Christian Formation provides a listing of resources and activities to assist families with participating in Holy Week.
