World Meeting of Families

The World Meeting of Families is being held in Rome from June 22-26, 2022 and the theme is “Family Love: A Vocation and a Path to Holiness.” The World Meeting of Families is an international event begun by Pope St. John Paul II and hosted by the Dicastery for the Laity, Family and Life every 3 years. The celebration includes a “Festival of Families,” a pastoral congress with presentations and theological reflections by speakers from all over the world, and concludes with a Mass celebrated by the Holy Father. This year’s celebration will be livestreamed by Rome for dioceses to participate locally.
